the prophet ( - صلى الله عليه وسلم -) and weak -or even Maqt?’[disconnected] if traced back to Sa‘?d. (1)

Reciting Al-F?tihah so quickly in Sal?t is another mistake some muslims commit in their Qiy?m. Some may not even utter its letters fully, ignoring all the phonetic rules of recitation.

This will be discussed in details when dealing with the congregational Sal?t, Insh?’all?h.

[20] Mistakes done in Ruk?‘ and when raising from it:

Some muslims commit mistakes when doing Ruk?‘ and when raising form it; some of these mistakes are of the ‘Ark?n and others are of the w?jib?t. The following are some of these mistakes.

[1/ 20] Delaying reciting the ‘Athk?r:

According to the Jumh?r, it is detested that a muslim defer reciting the affirmed ‘Athk?r when moving from one Rukn to the other in Sal?t such as: reciting Takb?r for Ruk?‘ , or saying ‘Sami’all?h liman Hamidah’ [All?h ( - عز وجل -) hears whoever thanks him] after totally raising one self from it. The Jumh?r held that the Sunnah is to recite the ‘Athk?r in their proper places; for example, a muslim must start reciting the Thikr then do the Ruk?‘ or Suj?d immediately afterwards. (2)

The M?lik? followers considered the act of deferring the recitation of ‘Athk?r [from their proper positions] as unrecommended.

Accordingly, a muslim must not ignore reciting the Takb?r?t when doing Sal?t or recite them in their improper positions.

According to the Han?bilah, ignoring the ‘Athk?r in Sal?t intentionally renders one’s Sal?t as null and void, and if it is done out of forgetfulness one must do Suj?d As-Sahw for reciting these ‘Athk?r in their proper positions is an obligation in Sal?t. (3)
