Abstract
The present study is devoted to deal with a prominent linguistic phenomenon which is referred to the Morphological deviation in the Holy Qur'an" following a semantic approach. Therefore, it aims at revealing all the semantic implications of the Qur'anic text and showing all the different implicit means of artistic expression.
It is worth mentioning , here, that any deviation from a structure to another is usually accompanied by a corresponding deviation in meaning ; particularly when all the structures have the same linguistic stem from which they are derived . Therefore, the reasons behind any deviate ion in the Qur'anic text are made explicit.
The present study is composed of three chapters besides the introduction. Preface and conclution , As for the proface it is concerned with defining the term "deviation" and presenting a comprehensive literature review subsuming the previous and the current studies relevant to the subject. Moreover, a reference is made to two other terms : stem and norm.
Chapter one is primarily and exclusively confined to deviation in Arabic focusing largely on the two types of morphological deviation. The first is deviation from the stem whereas the second is deviation from the norm. As for chapter two, it deals with the morphologic at deviation from the stem in the Holy Qur'an. On the other hand, chapter three, is devoted to deal with the morphological deviation from the norm . in The Holy Qur'an. Finally, the major results that the study has come up with are presented.
It has been concluded that the morphological deviation is a systematic and precise digression from a form to another. Consequently, two types of deviation are distinguished. i. e. deviation from the stem and deviation from the norm .. The study has presented all the semantic implications of each type in detail.
